Sixty Vines

Wine-country restaurant, mid-city Dallas. The elegant dinner wedding.

Sixty Vines at Preston Center is the closest Dallas gets to a Napa-style restaurant venue. Heavy wood, wine walls, glass, and patio seating with a fire feature. For couples who want a restaurant wedding — ceremony followed directly by a seated dinner, no ballroom logistics — this is the strongest option in Dallas for the micro-to-small wedding scale.

The Dinner-Wedding Format

A restaurant wedding is a different thing than a traditional wedding. There's no ballroom, no dance floor (usually), no grand exit. What you get instead is an intimate multi-course dinner with people who actually matter, photographed candidly as the evening unfolds. Sixty Vines does this format as well as anyone in DFW. The Wine Garden room holds up to 80 for private events and opens to the patio in good weather.

Photography Considerations

Restaurant lighting is a photographer's exam. Warm tungsten, mixed ambient, candlelight. The ability to balance these without making the photos look yellow or muddy separates competent wedding photographers from the ones who can actually work this venue. For Sixty Vines specifically, the patio during blue hour (20 minutes after sunset) is the single strongest visual moment — worth building the timeline around.

Timeline Shape

A Sixty Vines wedding typically runs 4 hours end-to-end. Ceremony on the patio or in the private dining room at 5:30pm, cocktails outdoor 6:00–6:45pm, seated dinner 6:45–9:00pm, dessert and champagne to close. We cover it as an editorial dinner, not a traditional wedding — which means more candid, fewer staged shots.

Sixty Vines FAQ

Can you have a wedding at Sixty Vines?+

Yes. Sixty Vines hosts private events including wedding ceremonies and dinners. The Wine Garden private dining room accommodates up to 80 guests. Inquire directly for current pricing and availability.

Is there a dance floor?+

Not a dedicated one. Some couples clear the patio for dancing after dessert. For full dance-floor receptions, Sixty Vines is not the venue.

Can we do a ceremony-only rental?+

The restaurant generally requires a food and beverage minimum for private bookings, so a pure ceremony-only rental is uncommon. Most couples package ceremony + dinner together.
