Monarch

Forty-nine floors up. The wedding at the table.

Monarch is the Italian restaurant on the 49th floor of The National, with a wraparound skyline view and the most intimate ceremony room in downtown Dallas: The Dome, a private dining room that seats 24. For couples whose ideal wedding is a great dinner with the people who matter, photographed honestly, this is the modern Dallas version of it.

Collections from $1,200. Photography only. Full galleries in 5–10 business days, depending on your collection.

The Dome

Twenty-four seats, one room, the city wrapped around it. Ceremony and dinner happen in the same space, which removes every transition a timeline usually bleeds time into. The main dining room scales the format to 100 with the full wraparound view — but The Dome is the version this venue was made for.

Light at Altitude

Bar Pendry at sunset — roughly 7 to 8pm — is the most photographed warm-up space, and the bar-mirror corner gives a symmetric, cinematic frame. The dining room runs warm and low after dusk; the photography leans available-light and documentary, exposed for mood rather than corrected to daylight.

Restaurant Reality

Monarch operates at full capacity Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm — portraits do not happen on the restaurant floor during service. There is no bridal suite; couples arrive dressed. The bar terrace is shared with patrons, so it is not a ceremony location. The format is a dinner party, and the timeline should be shaped like one.

Can you get married at Monarch?+

When is the light best?+

Sunset at Bar Pendry, around 7pm most of the year, then dusk in the dining room as the city lights come up.
