Dallas Country Club
Highland Park, members only. Columns, lawn, hard rules.
Dallas Country Club is the Highland Park members-only club — column architecture, a front lawn that takes golden hour straight on, and the strictest vendor protocol in Dallas weddings. Weddings here are hosted through members, every vendor on property is member-sponsored, and privacy is enforced, not suggested. Inside those rules sits one of the most photogenic club weddings in Texas.
Collections from $1,200. Photography only. Full galleries in 5–10 business days, depending on your collection.
The Member Reality
Every vendor arrives under member sponsorship and the host member's name — DCC enforces this for photographers the same as caterers. Club members at the bar are never photographed without explicit permission; privacy is a hard rule, and your photographer needs to know it before the first frame, not after a complaint. None of this is hostile. It is simply how the club works, and crews that respect it are welcomed back.
Ceremony and Light
The Grand Ballroom holds 250 seated, with columns that compress the room beautifully. Outdoor ceremonies face the clubhouse from the front lawn — in summer, golden hour hits the columns around 6pm; the portrait window runs 6:30–7:45pm in late spring and 5:15–6:30pm in fall. The second-floor bridal suite faces west and needs sheers after 4pm; the staircase landing one floor below is where the best getting-ready portraits actually happen.
Corners Worth Clearing in Advance
The members-only library — wood paneling, oil portraits, low light — is available only if the host member books it in writing. The pro-shop side courtyard is quiet, shaded, and right for bridal-party candids. Both require asking early; nothing at DCC is improvised on the day.
Common Questions
Dallas Country Club FAQ
Can non-members get married at Dallas Country Club?+
Weddings are hosted through club members. If you are not a member, you need a member host — and that sponsorship extends to every vendor on the property, including your photographer.
How many guests can DCC hold?+
The Grand Ballroom seats 250, and the club accommodates up to about 300 for a reception.
Are there photography restrictions?+
Yes — club members are never photographed without permission, and vendor access runs through your member host. We photograph the wedding, never the club floor. The rules are strict and entirely workable.
