Bullion

French, copper-lit, forty guests. The wedding as dinner party.

Bullion is Bruno Davaillon's French restaurant downtown — dim, copper-warmed, and built at exactly the scale where a wedding becomes a dinner party: Le Cigare, the private room, seats 30, and the bar takes 60 for a standing cocktail hour. No ballroom, no production. A French dinner with vows at the front of it.

Collections from $1,200. Photography only. Full galleries in 5–10 business days, depending on your collection.

Built for Forty Guests

Le Cigare seats 30 for a seated ceremony-and-dinner; the bar holds 60 standing. The format works because nothing about it pretends to be a bigger wedding — the food is the program, the room is the decor, and the photography is candid by nature.

Copper Light

The room is dimly lit and copper-warmed — film-friendly with real white-balance discipline, muddy without it. This is the kind of light that separates photographers who can read tungsten from photographers who fight it. Exposed for mood, Bullion photographs like a French film still.

Plan the Day Around 5:30

The restaurant opens at 5:30pm — there is no daytime access, and no bridal suite. Portraits happen elsewhere first: a downtown location, then arrival at Bullion dressed and ready. The chef's table requires explicit kitchen permission, so ask early if that frame matters to you.

Bullion FAQ

How many guests can Bullion host?+

Le Cigare, the private dining room, seats 30. The bar accommodates 60 for a standing cocktail reception, with about 80 across the room at the top end.

Can we take photos at Bullion before the ceremony?+

No — the restaurant opens at 5:30pm. We schedule daylight portraits at a nearby downtown location first, then move to Bullion for the evening.

Is it too dark inside for good photos?+

It is dark, and that is the point. The copper light photographs beautifully when exposed for mood rather than corrected to daylight. It demands a photographer comfortable in tungsten — ask to see real restaurant work before booking anyone.
